what is a community???
is it a random grouping of whomever is available, put into play, so as not to feel alone??
or is the 'shoulder'....en Mass.....one can cry on...rely on.....perhaps even SPY on!!!
how do we categorize community??
do we feel it happening around us, or do we simply wake up one morning and have a very best friend, holding our hand, as if she were a sister of our own??
sending eggplant and such.......
how very lucky and fortuitous is the moment when we find ourselves 'smack-dab' in the middle of a loving and caring and nurturing and eggplant ordering group of 'friends'.......in a COMMUNITY........
for crying out loud!!!!
where, oh where, have they been all our lives??
how did we make it through the long and arduous rights of passage without them along our side???
i am deeply overwhelmed.......
highly grateful.....
considerably moved...
to find that my community has sprouted all around me and mine....
thank you ......thank you.....
