court jesters....

the thing about the 'jesters' is that they never really ARRIVE......
they kind of 'jockey' and estimate and gage /////
and yet......and yet.....
they never really move off of their original, albeit secondary!, position.....
so that the hope of 'ascension'....of 'illumination' becomes a kind of lofty and un reasonable
stance......
nonetheless.....
they keep on juggling those balls of FIRE into a tripod formation.....
nobody really ever understands WHY!!!
but we find it somehow 'lightly amusing'.......somewhat vulgar.....
but hey!!
we cannot all be beacons of taste and breeding......after all........
and in the end.....
they are only JESTERS........poor things.....
doomed to a life of juggling and posturing and trying to catch your eye.......
even just for a moment.....
be charitable.......merciful.....
put a quarter into their tin cup, and PRAY FOR THEM.......
