'pistachio'....
green.....
symbolic of her ""PLENTIFUL"" day ......
they knew how much she loved pistachio, after all......
and,
of course,
green was the color of 'success and healing'.....
not to mention the fact that it would satisfy her insatiable 'sweet tooth'.....
at least for the moment.....
and they brought it to her on the back of a Shetland pony.......
from the creamery in the other town......
the one with the 'special cows'......
a little, blond girl with freckles and braids rode in to town,
sidesaddle......
and handed the ice cream to Missy.....
(strange that it hadn't melted during the long, hot ride !)
but let's remember......
i had come from
^^^^THAT creamery^^^^....
the girl planted a sugary, sweet kiss on Missy's cheek......
it brought a tear to the woman's eye......
and she had a moment of ,
what seemed like,
pure, unadulterated emotion....
and then.......
a flashback to simpler days.....
there was that old, familiar longing again.......
a fairy flew by.....
ever so quickly....
and sprinkled 'glitter' into the air.......
and so it went......
