parallel universe........

the parallel universe, as it were, holds within its very essence, a kind of fascination for me.....
the fact that one can, quite literally, live a wholly different existence from another ........
and yet.....and yet......
there exists within the iconic atmosphere , a kind of 'same ness'........
a reiteration of experience......a kind of 'shared history'......
an energetic symbiosis.......
so......we wish fervently to think ourselves 'unique'......'special'........'unusual'.....
but broken down to the bare bones of it........
the sort of 'lowest common denominator'......
we seem to ALL be peculiarly similar........
OR NOT!!!
its , i suppose, the 'US AND THEM' thing......
shirts and skins........
rhyme and reason.......
elementary and rudimentary...........
yin and yang.......
so on.......
we befriend like minded girly girls, because they can empathize, sympathize, harmonize........with our dilemma......with our spirit......
with our experience.......
and we with theirs......
and suddenly, in retrospect, we see that its ALL BEEN EXACTLY THE SAME!!!
but packaged a bit differently......
and with this incredible Revelation, comes a sort of 'comfort' and 'cohesion'......
and that indelibly etched sense that we are NOT alone......
that we matter.....
