is looking into the water at his reflection, and sees another dog with a bigger, juicier bone....
blah....blah...
we all know this story....
in the end, the pathetic, greedy dog reaches into the water, in an attempt to TAKE THE BIGGER BONE.........
and loses everything.....
I, my friends........
your loyal author......
I AM YOUR 'REFLECTION' in the water!!!
i seem to be the holder of 'the cards'.....
actually in MY CASE, i DO, in fact, HOLD SOME CARDS!!!
nonetheless......
the point that I'm attempting to drive home to you,
en mass,
is that your notion of grass ,perhaps, being GREENER........
is a compromised and compromis ing position to hold onto........
AT BEST.....
no ones grass is perfectly manicured and meticulously positioned AT ALL TIMES,
regardless of the perceptions being put forth......
some have a bushy, tangled MESS of grass, while others have brown spots and puddles,
hither and fro........
some grass is waxed to shiny, categorized perfection.....
the wax then sealing any chance of 'oxygen availability'.......
although Kelly, green tundra seems to be the appearance......
as such......
some local ranchers choose to eliminate the grass in its ENTIRETY!!!
hence eliminating the necessity for fertilization and upkeep........
bags of grain are dropped on third world countries, where the LAST CONCERN is the appearance of the lawn......
one truly never knows the TRUE state of another woman's lawn .....
of another country's lawn!!!
ode to a 'DOG'......
