and they applaud......
and throw roses and RICE....
as if it were a WEDDING....
or perhaps,
some other type of SIMCHA...(happy occasion)....

during the confrontation that ensues.......
it is interesting here to note that the rice being thrown
has been BOILED in
RUBBER CEMENT
and 'MILK and HONEY'......
