i sat at a table yesterday.....

with a curious man....
attempting to explain,
from my heart,
and from my head....
 why JUDAISM lives on in perpetuity.....

why....
beyond the dogma and rhetoric.....
the simplicity and profundity of Torah
 AFFORDS us
an OUTLINE,
if you will.....

an outline and a set of limits and barometers.....
that....
when reduced to their BASIC INTENT......
tell us EVERYTHING......

EVERYTHING THAT WE NEED TO KNOW.....

respectfully,
the rabbis and scholars have lent interpretation
to ALL OF IT.....
some sagely.....
some superfluous, i suppose...:}}

but broken down to its most common denominator,
we have IT ALL.....

a guideline for life.....
for humanity...
for illumination.....

all one need do is
 LOOK and
 READ and
ASK...

GOD will be right THERE next to you...
whispering in your ear....
holding your hand....

imparting HIS wisdom.....
imparting his LOVE.......
